Martyn Hamilton
Head of Commercial
With over 30 years of experience in all forms of commercial property, management, sales and leasing of commercial and industrial property, Martyn is a vastly experienced professional with a well-established long term client base. Owning a long established independent commercial real estate agency and independent property management company has given Martyn a unique and insightful perspective in both fields of commercial property which is invaluable to property owners.
Well known in the commercial property sector, particularly within the Parnell and city fringe areas, Martyn has a successful reputation of turning around problematic properties and ensuring their ongoing efficient and streamlined management.
The merger of his commercial property management company with apm brings an exciting opportunity to combine his wealth of experience and industry knowledge with a growing commercial management division under the apm umbrella.
In addition, Martyn has spent considerable time working in London in the real estate industry, particularly within the specialised marketing of new residential developments, a further testament to his extensive and varied experience to date.

Bill Highet
Managing Director
Bill joined apm in January 2021 as a business partner with Howard, and as our Chief Operating Officer. He then moved to the Managing Director role in February of 2022.
Bill has been leading multifunctional teams since being appointed Chief Engineer of the Waitaki Electric Power Board at the age of 24 and his career has spanned a broad range of industries including electricity, gas, telecommunications, manufacturing, consumer products and real estate. Bill has an electrical engineering degree but has worked mostly in project management, customer facing and senior management roles in both start-ups and corporates. Before joining apm, Bill was CEO of Property Brokers Limited, other prior roles including Chief Operating Officer of Brand Developers (trading as The TV Shop), General Manager Retail at Meridian Energy, Chief Operating Officer at Whisper Tech and General Manager Mobile Networks at Telecom.
Bill is a member of the Real Estate Institute and the Institute of Directors. He and his wife Jo live on the North Shore and have two adult children, Blake and Kendal. When not working Bill may be found boating and fishing in the Hauraki Gulf or at the family holiday home in Raglan where he and Jo also have some investment properties.

James Bangerter
Manager – Southern Area – Commercial
James Bangerter brings a wealth of knowledge to his role with more than 15 years’ property management experience.
Attentive to detail, analytical and affable, James is dedicated to ensuring clients get the best return on their assets. As a Pukekohe local who grew up on the North Shore, he knows Auckland – from North to South – like the back of his hand, so his work experience is backed by local insight.
James has been part of the real estate industry since 2005, and his career has seen him involved in a raft of tasks, including residential property maintenance, residential property management, new business and team management, General Management since 2013.
“The thing I like the most about real estate is giving clients service over and above what they expect and making sure they have all the right tools and advice to achieve their real estate goals,” he says.
“The skills and knowledge I have obtained over the years transfer ideally into the commercial property management sector of the industry – it’s all about communication, problem solving and a focus on benefit management for any type of landlord”
The devoted husband and father – and part-time kids’ cricket coach – is known for his conscientiousness, loyalty, organisation and ability to solve problems.
His life motto includes doing something every day to improve his and his family’s life – as well as working to ensure his company strives to be the best in the industry.

Tracy Zhu
Senior Asset Manager
Tracy joined apm in March 2017 as an administrator and has moved with the company to be part of the Commercial team as a Property Manager.
Tracy graduated from the University of Auckland and obtained a Bachelor of Property. After spending eight years studying and working in New Zealand, Tracy went back to China in 2011. She joined PricewaterhouseCoopers China as a team secretary in Forensics Department and was quickly promoted to senior secretary after two years. She was also appointed as the personal assistant for one of their Forensics Partners.
In 2016 Tracy and her family returned to New Zealand. Her years of working experience in administration, together with real estate knowledge gained from her property degree, Tracy picked up things very quickly. Tracy is very friendly and patient and she works very well with all kinds of people and maintains good relationships in her network. She’s always willing to help if you ever need her.
Her abilities to speak both English and Mandarin has helped her to serve a wide range of customers.
Tracy loves to spend her spare time with her family, especially with her beautiful daughter. Her other hobbies include watching movies, travelling, and shopping.

Joseph Baranyai
Senior Asset Manager
Joseph heads up the St Johns College Trust account for apm and has been working in and around the Auckland property market for the last 25 to 30 years. His path began with a Bachelor of Property at Auckland University.
Joseph has extensive experience in many fields within property that includes Residential, Commercial and Industrial Management, Body Corporate Management, Commercial property development, as well as special projects such as Weather Tightness and Seismic Remediation projects.

Marc Kobrin
Senior Asset Manager
Marc is an experienced property manager with over 15+ years of experience (including international) working in the real estate industry. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce, a Financial Certificate, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business and two property certificates.
Outside of work Marc likes to keep fit, and enjoys mountain biking, CrossFit, surfing, ice hockey, and has a love for dogs.

Danushka Hettiarachchi
Senior Asset Manager
Danushka is a seasoned Asset Manager with a comprehensive background in managing a wide range of assets, including A-grade properties. He has expertise in lease negotiation and project management and specialises in financial management.
Danushka has played a key role in helping commercial landlords achieve certifications such as NABERS, Green Star, and WiredScore, demonstrating his commitment to sustainability and operational excellence.
Passionate about maximising asset value, he combines strategic oversight with a meticulous approach to optimise property performance and enhance tenant satisfaction.

Ethan Manning-Harris
Commercial Property Manager
Ethan is a new Commercial Property Manager, starting in late 2024 after a year-long internship. Ethan works directly with Joseph and Danushka in managing commercial property.
He recently completed a Bachelor of Property at the University of Auckland and has begun his professional career with apm. As his first experience in the property industry, Ethan is looking to apply his study surrounded by an excellent team. He is hard working and ambitious, looking to grow and learn as much as possible.
Outside of work and study, Ethan plays sports such as Basketball, Sailing, and Skiing. He enjoys any opportunity to engage with others and socialise.

Celeste Bell-Catnott
Facilities Manager
After 14 fulfilling years of working in London, Celeste is embarking on an exciting new chapter by returning to New Zealand. Throughout her career, Celeste has successfully led teams in facilities and property management within both large public and private sector organisations.
Celeste has developed a strong expertise in facilities and change management, service delivery, and business process improvement. Now, Celeste is eager for her extensive experience to enrich the ongoing success of apm.

Marie Gaylor
Waiheke Commercial Property Assistant
Marie has a background in Banking and has owned a residential building company for over 20 years, managing the administration and sales side of the business.
Since moving to Waiheke Island in 2019, Marie has been a tour operator for wine tours and weddings, been involved in voluntary roles, and has worked at the local Primary School as a learning support assistant.
Marie enjoys helping others and enjoys facing new challenges while working at apm.
Outside of work Marie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, spending time at the beach, and watching sports especially Rugby.

Nick Olliver
Facilities Manager
Nick joined apm in August 2024 with a background in Facilities, Body Corporate Management and Hospitality. Prior to coming to apm Nick had been working as a Building Manager/ Facilities Manager for companies based in Hamilton, Sydney and London. He has a wealth of experience in all aspects of property ranging from Residential and Commercial to Body Corporate.
Nick is a full time Facilities Manager working alongside the Body Corporate team to ensure our sites run smoothly and efficiently. Nick enjoys working on projects both big and small and is always open to handling even the most difficult situations.
In his spare time Nick works as a part time music producer and enjoys watching sport.
Tina Lepou
Commercial Office Manager
Tina was an Office Manager for both a Commercial Property Management company and Commercial Real Estate company for over 16 years. ‘Swapping hats’ between the two businesses daily allowed Tina to experience many aspects of the commercial property industry which she believes to be a real asset.
Tina is married with two daughters (aged 14 & 19) and they have three rescue cats.
Animals and animal welfare is Tina’s biggest passion and a life goal of hers would be to have enough property (and funds) to one day adopt them all!

Nora Fu
Commercial Accountant
Nora moved to New Zealand to pursue a higher education and in 2017 she graduated with a Bachelor of Business degree specialising in accounting.
After graduating Nora accrued essential experience and expertise by working in the hospitality and tourism industry then she moved to the vehicle industry until late 2023 when she joined our apm Commercial team.
Nora is passionate about assisting others and takes pride in offering support to her colleagues and peers. Her years of experience has honed her ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
Beyond Nora’s career, reading is a cherished pastime, allowing her to explore new worlds and broaden horizons. She also loves travelling with friends and the joy of discovering different cultures, cuisines, and landscapes fuels her sense of adventure and fosters enduring friendships.

Jo Highet
Reception Administrator
Jo came on board to apm to assist the Reception team in January 2021. She was born and bred in the Waikato, left to travel the world for five years to find fame and fortune, then came back and found Bill Highet who years later became apm’s Managing Director.
Jo has a background in administration, project management and fashion design, and her interests include travel, boating, cooking, and design. She and Bill live on the North Shore and have two adult children.
